The Labor Education Project is driven by the belief that political education is essential to empowering workers, strengthening solidarity, and winning justice for the working class.
We understand the challenges workers face on the shop floor and in contract battles.
We utilize our collective working class experience as part of the Labor Education Project, where we collaborate with unions, worker collectives, and progressive organizations to advance labor strategy, worker-led journalism, and political education.

Our work includes:
- Contributing labor articles to People’s World, documenting strikes, union drives, and the growing movement for worker power.
- Reporting from major labor conventions, including the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU), American Postal Workers Union (APWU), United Auto Workers (UAW), and Ohio AFL-CIO, to amplify the voices of frontline labor organizers.
- Contributing to labor-focused pamphlets for pro-worker organizations like the Communist Party USA and Detroit Union Education League, making labor history and organizing tactics accessible to rank-and-file workers.
- Speaking at labor schools and universities—from the Claudia Jones School (Washington, DC) to the Little Red Schoolhouse (New York) to the Salt of the Earth Labor College (Arizona)—on topics like union organizing, socialist labor strategy, and youth engagement in the labor movement.
- Helped organize a 70-person labor history tour in Chicago, uniting U.S. and international trade unionists to explore the city’s militant labor legacy—with plans for a similar project in Detroit. We also work closely with worker collectives to develop rank-and-file education programs, fostering discussions on trade unionism, workplace organizing, and fighting back against corporate domination.
Looking ahead, we’re preparing to report on the labor movement in Cyprus, where we’ll interview the president of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) and participate in the Cyprus Progressive Youth Festival, bringing global labor struggles home to strengthen solidarity with U.S. workers.
We’re building the tools, knowledge, and strategy needed to organize, resist exploitation, and fight for a world that puts people before profits!
